¨Thinking of starts, astrology constellations creating the landscape set up, Italian renaissance - Botticelli, Fico Mirandola vision of planet with sound vibrations. People and especially politics in need of own astrology advisor again:) Modern myths, like back to Shakespeare pun. And of course terrible housing situation of todays nomads due to crisis. What does the stars say about it? That the nature is the home for all of us, not for elites who cook it already in the past.

This painting irritates me a bit. Yet its one of my best paintings. I didn't start with fully specific vision this time. A flesh memory of a photo from Easter Island primeval stone figures, that I later saw in a dream floating on a boat. Some inspiration from scrolling your art on Instagram. Some even from my old paintings and newer. While this warming green is just omnipresent summer light crossing all the leaves. And our situation to find inner map in this world...at least mine. Connected with nature and bit upset with it..city person on a trip.

This also self ironizing title... Images for my paintings are often based on night dreams or the kind of visions-imaginations I see before sleeping. This one shows two tigers, white and yellow, like a sun and moon I thought and a black waterfall like tree bark, a tourist in a car and a person with a bow.
Because I was already busy with an image series called Back to Mesopotamia Back to Basics, I find the continuity of wild nature interesting.
At the beginning (Mesopotamia series) it was about opening up to an old natural world, symbolized by porridge and Mesopotamia in a dream, referring to life without inferior motive and pure joy and humanity.
The new image with tigers is however also talking about the fact that if you make a step beyond our safe cage, beyond concepts, there are also wild and dangerous things.
Few days ago we were attacked by a seagull at a nearby beach and we lost. We had to give up a croissant, even though I was pushing the seagull away by my feet :D We city people who send away most of the dangerous animals (and nearly all animals in fact), we are walking here seemingly relaxed, without connection with our roots and nature and with no idea how to deal with natural elements, not even one seagull. I was afraid to hurt him while one should be able to protect their own borders, but not to kick out all wild nature and think that this is a solution. The role of man was to make the family safe so the top of the patriarchy, now hyper protection where one cant get fresh air from the window in the train cause one thought it's dangerous to have a window. Some thoughts were dangerous too and we ended up in a "save" world of concepts afraid of one self.
The Idea about the tourists in the jungle is talking about naivety with which I-we enter the wild world of nature and the spiritual world of the unknown.
There is a woman driving a car and a map. Car is loud, the map gives the safe feeling while you are not aware of where you really are. Like many advice and guides makes me often more disconnected with inner guidance:)

Painting about art and about alchemy of evolution we are part of, with nature against nature. Do I disagree with what is going on in the world...its strange to realize, we are part of the Creation and evolution, part of this all. Its allright than, even tho I rather walk in the slow life of painting. But hello outside drama and lets do little spring cleaning in invisible inventory.

Are u also not feed by sticky blue mush?
When everything is made bit better bit higher, sticky and with inferior motives. But one cant connect with the pure existence.
Also goddess is painted "blue" in museums on too high pedestals.
I collected all documents that this is not gonna feed us.

I'm often inspired by night dreams and day time vision seen in 'reality' or imagination. Dream is a gate of each of us to spiritual more objective world. Its not any trend or ism like Surrealism for me. Even tho than were artists who took dreams also seriously like, Luis Buñuel, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Leonora Carrington, Toyen or Frida Kahlo. I think art and spirituality was always connected and dream image is one of the ways for ever.

The first small painting inspired by dream I had about seal...me being a seal, swimming so well.

After that we went with my man and our son to see real seals at Texel island and spend some time near. I had no magic connection tho:D

Seal
I swim in the sea, the sky is black, the moon does not shine. Around the seals. I swim beautifully and fast. Like a seal, or I am a seal. My man takes me out of the sea. It supports me a little, because my legs are a bit messed up... looking normally, but I feel like I'm changing into a seal (or from a seal to women). I'm going somewhere to a student dormitory. Luckily, the radio is playing so loud that it drowns out my high-pitched singing. Probably my form of talking.
And it goes on but that I keep for myself.
Shortly my DNA is connected with seal which helps my body to retreat.
